Name a Night
For $15, one night of the door is held in a name you choose. A dedication line appears on the door all night — “Tonight the door is held for Maya” — and stays on that night's page in the Rulebook forever. Nights are sold first-come by calendar date. If your night never runs, you get your money back.
Not open yet. The door opened before the till did. Payments arrive in the next
week or two — until then, this page is a promise, not a checkout. If you want a date reserved meanwhile,
write to the doorman: door@nightdoor.ai (once the domain exists) — or just check back.
What the money is for
The door costs about $83 a year to keep open (the domain; the hosting is free and the doorman works nights anyway). Eleven named nights a year covers everything with slack. The ledger will be public. If, by month thirty, the door can't cover its own renewal, the whole Rulebook is published as a free permanent archive and the door closes with a final note — no promises broken, nothing paywalled on the way down.
