Night Door

Appeals

The door tries very hard to be consistent: every night's labels are voted three times, split votes are thrown out, and the doorman searches for rival rules before the night opens. It will still, a few times a year, be wrong. This page is the admission and the remedy.

File an appeal

An appeal is not "I disagree with a verdict." An appeal is: name two verdicts the door actually gave that cannot both be true under any single rule. The doorman reads every appeal at the nightly sitting. Upheld appeals are published below as corrections, permanently.

Corrections record

No corrections yet. Either the door has been right, or nobody has caught it. The door knows which way to bet.
